PRECISION BOTANICAL LABORATORIES OPENS FOR TESTING - QUALITY CANNABIS TESTING FOR NEW MEXICO
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – May 10, 2023 — TriCore, founded and operating in New Mexico since 1998, proudly announces the opening of its new subsidiary business, Precision Botanical Laboratories (PB Laboratories), a cannabis testing company. The new lab facility, located in Albuquerque separate from TriCore’s medical laboratories, is equipped with state-of-the-art testing equipment and staffed by a dedicated team of experienced scientists.
Says, Eric Carbonneau, PB Laboratories President and TriCore COO, “New Mexico has relied on TriCore to deliver gold standard medical lab testing for 25 years. Our state can depend on Precision Botanical Laboratories to bring the same level of excellence and scientific rigor when delivering the precise and reliable laboratory testing needed to ensure safe and high-quality cannabis products in our community.”
PB Laboratories offers all the state-required microbial screening, residual pesticide and solvent analysis, and potency testing; its profile of 14 cannabinoids is the largest in the state. Additionally, the lab performs a panel for 39 different terpenes commonly present in cannabis plants, the most comprehensive and detailed such panel available in New Mexico. Finally, PB Laboratories is currently the only lab in the state to offer testing for Hops Latent Viroid (HLVd), an infection impacting over 30% of cannabis plants in the United States.
